CNBM Strengthens Cooperation with Thailand and ASEAN, Signing Multiple Strategic Agreements
From August 25 to 27, Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), led a delegation to visit Thailand. He held friendly meetings with senior leaders from Siam Cement Group (SCG), Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office, witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements, and visited local enterprises, further advancing international exchange and collaboration.
Cooperation with SCG

Zhou met with Mr. Thammasak Sethaudom, President and CEO of SCG, and jointly witnessed the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between CNBM subsidiaries and SCG in areas including R&D, engineering and technical services, waterproofing solutions, and green energy services. Both sides reviewed the achievements of their two decades of cooperation and agreed to further deepen collaboration in high-end, green, and digital building materials, as well as new materials, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the materials industry in Southeast Asia and beyond.
Signing of Strategic Cooperation Agreement with CP Group

Zhou also met with Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of CP Group, and Suphachai Chearavanont, Chairman of CP Group, and witnessed the signing of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement covers integrated development in agriculture, materials, and services, scientific research and technology development, and engineering projects. Both parties stated that through complementary strengths and a powerful alliance, they will further expand cooperation in the Southeast Asian market.
Deepening Cooperation with the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO)

Zhou exchanged views with Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of the EECO, and jointly witnessed the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) between Sinoma International and the EECO. The partnership will jointly advance the development of EEC industrial parks, introduce green technology solutions, attract high-quality enterprises, and promote high-quality development of the park and the regional economy.
This visit and the signing of agreements mark a further deepening of CNBM's cooperation in the Thai and ASEAN markets, laying a solid foundation for projects in regional basic building materials, green building materials, new energy, and new materials.
